Mr Lijun Xiu

Vice President of Operations and Production


Mr Xiu has a long and distinguished geological career of over 30 years working for the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration & Development (a division of China National Petroleum Corporation), where most recently he was a Deputy Chief Geologist for one of the largest oilfields in Songliao Basin in China. Mr Xiu has extensive experience in oilfield exploration and development planning, drilling design, research on geological conditions for oil and gas accumulations and target selection, evaluation of oil reservoir properties and productivity construction, evaluation of well logging, and assessment of hydrocarbon reserves. Mr Xiu holds a Bachelor degree in Geological Prospecting from the Northeast Petroleum University in China. He also holds a number of professional titles, including Reserves Evaluation Specialist from the Ministry of Land and Resources of the People's Republic of China. Mr Xiu has published more than 20 research papers in domestic and international academic journals. Mr Xiu is a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Mrs Liz Harford

Trinidad Chief Financial Officer


Mrs Liz Harford has over 21 years’ experience in finance, predominantly within the oil and gas sector in Trinidad. She has held various positions with Range’s Trinidad operations over the years including senior accountant, financial controller and currently the CFO responsible for leading the financial team. She has been instrumental in Range’s progress in Trinidad within various areas of expertise such as financial management and reporting, fiscal management, procurement, inventory control, taxation and auditing. Liz is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in UK, member of Institution of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago and a Certified Internal Auditor accredited by the Institute of Certified Internal Auditors in the US.

Ms Karlene Ali

Trinidad Deputy General Manager


Ms Karlene Ali has over 10 years of oil industry experience, having held various finance, HSE and administrative positions with independent oil and gas companies in Trinidad. Prior to joining Range in 2014, Karlene was a Business Development Manager with West Indian Energy Group Limited. From 2006-2013, Karlene worked at Jasmin Oil and Gas Limited, where she was instrumental in building and maintaining the company’s finance and HSE systems. In Range’s Trinidad operations, Karlene is responsible for communications, government and stakeholder relations, corporate social responsibility and contract compliance. Karlene is a member of the Association of Business Executives (UK) and holds an MBA from the Anglia Ruskin University.
